Hello everyone,
I am an Italian citizen currently based in Rome with my American partner who has been granted a touristic Visa approximately a month and a half ago. Due to the harsh situation in her country of residence (Lebanon), we are trying to figure out a way for her to stay beyond the expiration date of her touristic visa. I was wondering if by any chance you had any info on whether it might be possible, by demonstrating that we have been together for a considerable amount of time, to find a more settled arrangement for her, in order to prolong her right to remain in Italy. What would the bureaucratic procedure entail in this case? Where to ask for further information, possibly by speaking with someone?
