annrod You are prepared! Bring hardcopies as well as ipad/phone backups... and one note. When I went, the test result for my pre-flight test came in an ‘unremarkable’ email. Ie: it didn’t even have a proper header or my full name. It laughably was addressed to ‘Dear Tom.’ In Deutschland I had to call my provider (it was my HMO, Kaiser Permanente) back in the States to send something that looked more official to get my quarantine reduced to a minimum 5 days. So maybe tell the tester it’s for international travel and you need a formal-looking response.
Also, after a month there, travelling all over north Germany & Berlin without paper checks or issues, on my return I booked at a Hamburg hotel for my early morning return flight. They were not going to let me in without all my test info. They were harder than customs! This was because they had a surge that stiffened the rules. So hang on to all your stuff for the return. Try to print out your test results along the way (they required copies for their files!) Fortunately I had all my test results, but had to plug in my ipad in the lobby and email the desk all my certified tests from the entire month before they let me take my room.
You sound uber prepared. It’ll go great. Congrats on your reunion!
