I too feel like I am a professional at Swedish immigration. I am a Swedish-American who’s been separated from my Swedish born boyfriend since February. The only loophole I found is that you can fly to London and then enter Sweden from there. On the Policen website, under Q&A’s, it states that because the UK is still under the EU open border system until 2021... you may enter Sweden and the ban legally does not apply. Now in London there is a mandatory 14 day quarantine for Americans. On the UK’s website, it states the quarantine period only applies to the length of your stay. So if you fly to London, stay two days, and continue to Stockholm... you only have to quarantine in the UK for your layover period.
All this sounds easy except flights to the UK from the US are expensive and Arlanda still only has limited flights coming into Terminal 5.
Please go onto the websites to verify what I’m saying . I hope this helps. I pray Sweden changes their policy so we can reunite with loved ones because the pandemic made me poor and I can’t afford this outrageous route just to see my boyfriend.!!
