My boyfriend is Italian and i am Irish. i live in Northern Ireland and currently anyone looking to travel from the north to the republic needs a valid reason or else you will be fined 100 euro, another 500 euro if you fly out of the country for non valid reasons. The list of valid reason do not include seeing your boyfriend/partner only "vital family reasons" and i do not believe they would accept the reason i was travelling as "vital". Can anyone help? Italy allows people from Ireland to fly to see their partner/boyfriend. The problem is getting out of Ireland.
