From Australia to Canada/USA

Hello,

I have a few questions :p

Does anyone have any information on options for Australian/Canadian couples?

Also, my partner and I aren't engaged/married or could be classified as 'defacto' (we have no shared accounts, haven't lived with each other for a year etc).

I saw on Smarttraveller.com that people can be exempt to leave Australia if they are going away for more than 3 months, but does anyone know if they'll let me into Canada? Or have any more info about this?

My partner and I were potentially thinking of heading to the US to meet there (more to the story), is this possible right now for a Canadian citizen, as well as an Australian citizen?

Thank you very much! I appreciate your help :) I have read this a short while ago, but still unclear what I would need to provide to ensure I have the highest chance of entering Canada.

Also, not sure if this is the most updated into considering certain parts of Canada (i.e. Toronto, which is where my partner is currently living) is in lockdown due to more waves of covid...
